The COSTUMAKERS Activewear One Way Separating Zipper 50cm (20") - Dark Green - 1760 is crafted for activewear and outerwear applications where a reliable one-way separating closure is essential. It features #5 nylon coil; medium weight; one way separating; for jacket and vest use, balancing strength and smooth zip action for jackets and vests. For installation, stabilize the seam allowance with interfacing or stay tape, baste to verify alignment, then sew close to the coil or teeth using a zipper foot for optimal performance. After stitching, test the slider's travel from top to bottom to ensure seamless operation. Match thread to the tape for a discreet finish or select a contrasting shade to highlight topstitching. Care guidance follows the garment's fabric instructions—press with a cloth to shield the nylon coil during ironing. Maintain a selection of lengths and colours in your toolkit to streamline production, repairs, and customisations. Show more
