Take a picture of the belt routing before removing the old belt. Inspect all idler pulleys and spindle pulleys for rough bearings, wobble, or groove wear before installing the new belt. Make sure the belt is fully seated in every pulley groove before engaging the deck. After installation, run the deck briefly at low throttle and recheck belt tracking. Do not pry the belt over pulleys with sharp tools, as this can damage the belt cords.
