The COSTUMAKERS Activewear One Way Separating Zipper 65cm (26") - Comet Blue - 1764 is tailored for activewear and outerwear projects requiring a reliable one-way separating closur e. Constructed with #5 vislon molded teeth, this medium weight zipper ensures smooth operation and robust performance. The one-way design allows the garment to open fully from the bottom, facilitating ease of use during wear and fit adjustments. Installation begins by stabilizing the zipper area with interfacing or stay tape, basting to confirm alignment, and topstitching near the teeth with a zipper foot for precision. After sewing, test the slider’s travel end to end to verify seamless function. Choose matching thread for a seamless integration or a contrasting hue to highlight topstitch details. Machine wash per garment instructions, pressing with a protective cloth over the teeth to prevent heat damage. Stock a variety of lengths and colours to support new creations, custom fits, and swift repairs. Show more
