The COSTUMAKERS Activewear Two Way Separating Zipper 55cm (22") - Hot Red - 1765 is engineered for activewear and outerwear applications requiring a reliable two-way separating clo sure. Constructed with #5 vislon molded teeth and medium weight tape, this zipper provides smooth, durable performance. The two-way design allows opening from either end, perfect for adjustable venting and ease of wear. To install, stabilize the zipper with interfacing or stay tape, baste to confirm alignment, then topstitch close to the teeth with a zipper foot. After sewing, slide the pull(s) to ensure seamless functionality across the full length. Choose coordinating thread for an integrated look or contrasting topstitching to highlight design details. Machine wash garments per care instructions, pressing carefully over the teeth with a protective cloth to avoid heat damage. Keep a stock of lengths and colours to support new designs, on-the-fly repairs, and custom alterations. Always trim tape, grade seam allowances, and press each step for professional results. Show more
