This Costumakers General Purpose zipper measures 18 cm (7 in.) and is fitted with a #2.5 nylon coil on colour-coordinated polyester tape. The light-weight, closed-end design keeps bulk to a minimum while maintaining durable strength for everyday garments. Its smooth coil and precision-engineered slider allow snag-free operation, even after thousands of pulls. Perfect for dresses, skirts, children’s wear and tailored pants, each Style-1700 zipper undergoes tensile-strength and cycle-fatigue testing, ensuring reliability through repeated home laundering and dry cleaning. The vibrant **Nectar** tape is solution-dyed for fade resistance and accurate shade matching across production runs. Installation requires only a standard zipper foot—no special tools—and the coil’s low profile presses flat after sewing for a professional finish. Costumakers zippers are compliant with CPSIA lead-free standards, giving sewists peace of mind in every project.
