The COSTUMAKERS General Purpose Closed End Zipper, Style 1700 in Surf merges refined aesthetics with robust performance for versatile garment applications. Crafted with a precision #2.5 nylon coil woven into a color-matched polyester tape, this 35 cm (14 in) zipper ensures exceptional tensile strength while maintaining a sleek, low-profile appearance. The closed-end design delivers a secure, seamless finish at hems, and the nickel-free, corrosion-resistant slider glides effortlessly through multiple wear, wash, and press cycles without snagging. Each coil undergoes solution-dyeing to guarantee consistent, fade-resistant color across production runs. All materials comply with CPSIA lead-compliance standards and are tensile-tested above 20N to confirm reliability in both children's and adult attire. Installation is straightforward with any standard zipper foot, allowing the tape to lie flat within seam allowances for a professional silhouette that resists distortion under steam or mechanical stress. Individually sleeved for protection against moisture and abrasion during transit and storage, the surf zipper is ideal for couture, formalwear, and everyday fashion that demands a dependable, low-profile closure.
