The COSTUMAKERS General Purpose Closed End Zipper, Style 1700 in Hot Red combines elegant styling with industry-grade performance for versatile garment applications. This 40 cm (16 in) zipper features a precision #2.5 nylon coil seamlessly integrated into matching polyester tape, offering outstanding tensile strength and a sleek, low-profile glide through repeated wear, wash, and press cycles. The closed-end design ensures a neat, secure hem finish, while the nickel-free, corrosion-resistant slider provides consistent snag-free operation. Each coil undergoes solution-dyeing to ensure uniform, fade-resistant color across production runs. All components meet CPSIA lead-compliance standards and are tensile-tested beyond 20 newtons for reliable durability in both children's and adult apparel. Installation is effortless with any standard zipper foot, allowing the tape to lie flat within seam allowances for a polished silhouette that resists distortion under steam or mechanical stress. Individually sleeved for protection against moisture and abrasion during transit and storage, the hot red zipper is perfect for couture, formalwear, bridal, and everyday designs demanding a dependable, low-profile closure.
