Very limited yardage, cannot be reordered.I don't even know how to describe this phenomenal fabric from Italy, a coating weight fabric that is jaw-droppingly beautiful. The base fa bric is a black woven, and wherever you see black in the photo, that is the base fabric. Everywhere else is infused with yarn-like fibers like a collage coming through the black background, and these fibers are over-printed in tones of rose, mint, spruce, pale apricot, winter white and gray (PANTONE 17-1928, 16-5815, 16-5820, 18-3905, etc.). The print resembles abstracted floral rosettes. The reverse shows the silvery infused fibers without the over-printing, so you see black and silvery gray. It is complex, exquisite, and overall has the texture and drape of a felted wool. It is perfect for a simple coat or jacket--it speaks for itself!
