[Cordovan Leather by ROCADO in Tuscany, Italy]This cordovan is made from horsehide tanned slowly with vegetable tannins, then the cordovan layer is scraped from within, resulting in a single-layer material with no grain surface. The dense fiber structure, polished one by one by artisans, gives it a distinctive charm that can only be experienced with cordovan's refined color and luster. The surface may show pinholes or cordovan-specific uneven waves, which are inevitable characteristics from the horse's sweat glands on its hindquarters. This cordovan is proof of genuine craftsmanship, finished without unnecessary processing, allowing the natural transparency of the dye to shine through. The interior leather, made from custom-mixed tanned cowhide, is matched in the same color as the cordovan, allowing you to enjoy the aging process both inside and out. We ask for your understanding in this matter. Since the leather is well-oiled, using wax or other treatments too early may cause discoloration or cloudiness on the surface of the leather. For initial care, please simply wipe with a dry cloth. Due to the natural finish, the leather may display scars, tigers (natural grain patterns), color irregularities, and rough textures. Additionally, there may be differences in gloss and color depth between individual pieces. Please understand this before purchase. There may be scratches, irregular coloring, abrasion, creases (wrinkles from the actual animal), etc. on the surface of the leather but please note that these are the natural characteristics of the leather. In order to preserve the natural texture of the leather, it has not been waterproofed. Please take care when using near water. The interior leather is cowhide, so it has a different texture compared to the exterior.
