The COSTUMAKERS General Purpose Closed End Zipper, Style 1700 in Rust merges refined elegance with robust performance for versatile garment applications. This 45 cm (18 in) closed- end zipper features a precision #2.5 nylon coil woven into a matching polyester tape, delivering exceptional tensile strength and a sleek, low-profile glide through repeated wear, laundering, and pressing. The nickel-free, corrosion-resistant slider ensures snag-free operation, while solution-dyed coils maintain consistent, fade-resistant coloration across production lots. All components exceed CPSIA lead-compliance standards and undergo tensile testing above 20 newtons for durability in both children’s and adult apparel. Installation is straightforward with any standard zipper foot, allowing the tape to lie flat within seam allowances for a professional silhouette that resists distortion under steam or mechanical stress. Individually sleeved to protect against moisture and abrasion during transit and storage, the rust zipper is ideal for formalwear, bridal applications, couture, and everyday designs demanding a reliable, discrete closure.
