STIHL OEM 3613 005 0050 63 PM PICCO™ Micro Chainsaw Chain – 14", 3/8" Picco, .050" Gauge, 50 Drive Links – Semi-Chisel Keep your saw cutting smoothly with the STIHL 63 PM PICCO™ Micro Chainsaw Chain. Genuine STIHL OEM part number 3613 005 0050 is a 14" professional-quality saw chain featuring 3/8" Low Profile (Picco) pitch, .050" (1.3 mm) gauge, and 50 drive links. The semi-chisel cutter design provides smooth, dependable cutting while maintaining its edge longer than a comparable full-chisel chain and remaining easier to sharpen. Manufactured in Switzerland, this STIHL OEM chain incorporates STIHL's patented OILOMATIC® lubrication system to direct bar oil to critical wear areas of the chain. The chain is also factory pre-stretched to help reduce initial stretching and the need for frequent tension adjustments during break-in. ⚠️ Before You Order – Verify Fitment Chain fitment depends on the specifications of your guide bar and cutting system—not just the chainsaw model or bar length. Always verify your current chain specifications: 14" (35 cm) Bar Length 3/8" Low Profile (Picco) Pitch .050" (1.3 mm) Gauge 50 Drive Links STIHL 63 PM / PICCO™ Micro Semi-Chisel Cutters Bar length alone does not guarantee compatibility. Always verify the pitch, gauge, drive-link count, and guide bar specifications before ordering. Important Safety Note: This 63 PM chain does not have significant kickback-reduction features and is intended for experienced or professional operators. STIHL recommends low-kickback, green-labeled chain with green-labeled reduced-kickback guide bars when appropriate for the powerhead and application. If you're unsure, contact us with your STIHL model number, serial number, guide bar information, and current chain number, and we'll help verify the correct replacement before you order. STIHL 63 PM is part of the PICCO™ Micro family and uses semi-chisel cutters designed to provide smooth, dependable cutting performance. Compared with more aggressive full-chisel cutters, semi-chisel chain is generally easier to sharpen and more forgiving when cutting in less-than-perfect conditions. It also tends to maintain a usable cutting edge longer when exposed to minor contamination. This makes 63 PM a strong choice for experienced operators who want dependable cutting performance without the more aggressive characteristics of full-chisel chain. STIHL OILOMATIC® Lubrication System Every STIHL saw chain incorporates the patented OILOMATIC® lubricating system. Specially engineered grooves on both sides of the drive links help channel bar oil toward critical wear areas while the chain is operating. Directing lubrication where it is needed helps reduce friction and wear at the chain joints, maximizes the effectiveness of the bar and chain oil, and contributes to longer chain life with less tendency for excessive stretching. Fits Saw Systems Using These Chain Specifications Required Chain Specifications: 14" Bar, 3/8" Low Profile (Picco) Pitch, .050" Gauge, 50 Drive Links This chain can be used only on saws equipped with a compatible guide bar and sprocket system requiring 3/8" Picco pitch, .050" gauge, and exactly 50 drive links. Always verify the information stamped on the guide bar or compare the specifications with the existing chain before ordering. Common Applications General woodcutting Firewood cutting Tree and limb cutting Property maintenance Farm and acreage maintenance Storm cleanup Professional landscape work Tree-care applications Applications where semi-chisel durability is preferred Frequently Purchased Together STIHL 14" guide bar for 3/8" Picco, .050" chain – verify 50-drive-link requirement STIHL 4.0 mm (5/32") sharpening file STIHL file holder STIHL depth gauge tool STIHL bar and chain oil Replacement 3/8" Picco drive sprocket Guide bar groove cleaner STIHL chain sharpening kit Replacement guide bar Installation & Sharpening Tips Shut off the chainsaw and disconnect the spark plug or remove the battery before servicing the cutting attachment. Verify that your guide bar requires a 14" chain with 3/8" Picco pitch, .050" gauge, and exactly 50 drive links. Do not select the chain based on 14" bar length alone. Pitch, gauge, and drive-link count must all match. Make sure the drive sprocket and guide bar nose are compatible with 3/8" Picco chain. Clean the guide bar groove and oil passages before installing the new chain. Inspect the guide bar and drive sprocket for excessive or uneven wear before installing a new chain. Install the chain with the cutting edges facing forward across the top of the guide bar. Make sure all 50 drive links are properly seated in the guide bar groove and sprocket. Adjust chain tension according to the STIHL operator's manual. Although the chain is factory pre-stretched, always recheck chain tension after initial operation and periodically during use. Confirm that the OILOMATIC® lubrication system is receiving an adequate supply of clean bar and chain oil. Use the recommended 4.0 mm (5/32") file when hand sharpening the cutters. Maintain consistent cutter length, filing angle, and depth-gauge settings for smooth and efficient cutting. Why Choose STIHL 63 PM PICCO Micro Chain? STIHL 63 PM PICCO™ Micro combines durable semi-chisel cutters with professional STIHL chain construction, the OILOMATIC® lubrication system, and factory pre-stretching. The result is a smooth-cutting chain designed for dependable performance, good edge retention, reduced wear, and easier maintenance. STIHL OEM 3613 005 0050 is the 14" configuration for cutting systems requiring 3/8" Picco pitch, .050" gauge, and 50 drive links.
