With a slightly wider putter head designed to inspire confidence, the Studio Style Newport Plus is precision milled from 303 stainless steel and includes the line’s new Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) face inlay, innovative chain-link face milling technology and proven multi-material design methodology for a Newport-style blade putter that ushers in a new era of soft sound, superior feel and unmatched performance. The integrated 6061 aircraft grade aluminum sole plate allows for weight to be designed into the putter’s perimeter for higher MOI and balance. A new textured Full Contact Slim grip, custom shaft band and headcover round out the offering. PLAYER PROFILE Made for players seeking the look of a classic blade but who want a bit more confidence over the ball, the Newport Plus has a slightly wider profile for increased forgiveness and stability while preserving the looks and performance of a blade. PLUS DESIGN CONCEPT The Studio Style Newport Plus has an innovative, slightly wider profile than standard blade dimensions, which provides a unique, confidence-inspiring view from address and increases MOI while preserving the looks and clean alignment associated with blade putters. Plus designs are intended for players who prefer blade feel and looks at address but seek a bit more stability and confidence in their stroke. STUDIO CARBON STEEL (SCS) FACE INSERT The new precision milled Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) insert delivers the unmistakably soft sound and feel of carbon steel, updated for the modern era with an electroless nickel plating for enhanced durability. CHAIN-LINK FACE MILLING TECHNOLOGY New chain-link face milling technology reduces the putter face inserts' touchpoints at impact with the ball using a texture that softens the sound and provides improved roll characteristics while preserving feel and feedback off the putter face.
