[Cymbals selected by Drum Station st aff at the Meinl Factory Tour 2023 in Germany are now available in stores!] A large number of cymbals purchased by the Doraste staff during a factory tour of the Meinl factory in Germany have arrived! -Comments from the purchasing staff- We tried out over 10 instruments and found that they were all of comparable quality, but we ended up purchasing one that had a particularly beautiful and unique sound spread! ●Byzance Jazz Series Made from B20 bronze alloy, hand-hammered for superior sound, and a beautiful, intricately harmonious sound with a variety of character characteristics. ■ Byzance Jazz Tradition These authentic Turkish cymbals are hand-hammered in Turkey using traditional methods, exuding a Jazz vibe. The Byzance Jazz series perfectly blends the woody stick character created by the combination of multiple different lacings with the warm, lingering resonance of the steeply angled bow, capturing the sound heard on many classic jazz records. The 22-inch model was released in 2014, followed by two 20-inch rides in different weights, a 22-inch flat ride, and a 14-inch hi-hat in 2015. The sweet ping sound with its complex overtones is accentuated with the clarity of a flat ride, and the sustain isn't too short, fading away with just the right amount of lingering resonance. This is a perfect record for acoustic jazz. Weight: Approx. 2360g Show more
