It is a highly attractive domestic brand that has many fans, both professionals and amateurs, captivated by its charm, including the infamous Keisuke Kuwata. He began using Yairi guitars around 1990, and this "BL-90K CTM" is a special guitar based on the model he used from 2000 to 2002. It features an all-solid spruce top, which was a favorite of his, and mahogany sides and back, and the top is finished in a beautiful sunburst color with a beautiful, lustrous gloss finish. The body is a "BL" type, which is slightly larger than the RF size of the popular series, but the curve of the waist is deeper, so it is smaller than a typical dreadnought, has outstanding volume, and is highly playable. It's no surprise that this instrument perfectly fulfilled the requirements that Kuwata was looking for at the time: a powerful, yet easy-to-handle guitar that could be used for all purposes. The deep tone that only an all-solid wood guitar can provide, along with the light sound that only mahogany sides and back provide, perfect for vocals, makes this a must-have guitar even for those who aren't fans of Kuwata.
