These ELAN shank buttons measure 15 mm (5/8 in) and are carded in a 3-pack for quick fixes and finishing. The raised shank protects thread and adds clearance so thicker layers sit smoothly without puckering. Use on coats, jackets, chunky knits and bags where the button face should stand slightly proud of the fabric. Sew through the shank with matching thread and consider a small backing button on heavy layers to spread stress. Show more
