The COSTUMAKERS Duvet Closed End Zipper in White, 150 cm (60 in), provides a long, lightweight closure tailored for bedding projects where a non-separating zipper is preferred. Wit h a #3 nylon coil, it balances flexibility and strength so it can curve with the fabric without adding excess bulk along the duvet opening. The extended length suits most twin to king-size duvet covers and large cushion covers that require an uninterrupted run. To install, mark the opening, stabilise the seam allowance with a light fusible or stay tape, and baste the zipper in place to verify alignment before the final stitch pass. Sew with a zipper foot, keeping the needle close to the coil while ensuring the slider moves smoothly from end to end. The closed-end design prevents the pull from travelling off the tape during laundering and everyday use. Choose White to coordinate with the shell fabric for a tidy finish that disappears into the seam; pair with matching thread for a blended look or a slightly contrasting tone for subtle definition. Care is simple: follow the textile manufacturer’s instructions and press with a cloth, avoiding direct heat on the nylon coil. This 150 cm (60 in) duvet zipper is a practical staple to keep on hand for new bedding projects and for refreshing existing covers with a reliable, low-profile closure. Show more
