The Custom Shop Queen Bee is an amp-like pedal equipped with three New Old Stock Military Flying Saucer germanium transistors. Lowering the guitar's volume knob cleans up the sound , delivering a tone that highlights sweet mids, clarity, sustain, and rich harmonics. Produces a sweet and rich sound. ■High sustain and gain: The first and second transistors place a high load on the third transistor, achieving sustain and distortion that cannot be obtained with a two-transistor fuzz. ■Tone Control: The Passive Hi-Cut Tone control adapts to various amplifiers, bringing out the best performance. ■Lossless Bass Switch: The 3-position Bass switch adjusts the low frequencies, providing a tight and powerful sound. ■Customizable Bias: The bias of transistor #3 can be adjusted from 2 to 6 volts DC. Even slight changes can dramatically alter the sound and compression characteristics. ■True bypass design: The Fulltone 3PDT footswitch ensures maximum signal integrity even when bypassed.
