We've received a used Xotic 5-string JB model, known for its excellent craftsmanship and sound quality! This popular model features an ash body and maple fingerboard, offering the feel of a vintage Jazz Bass combined with the versatility of an active design. It boasts a high-quality Trilogic 2 preamp, providing a wide range of sounds, including a 3-band equalizer, a mini-switch for Mid control (Off/On - @400Hz/800Hz - ±12dB), a Bright switch (Off/On - @6KHz/12K - ±18dB), and push/pull functionality on the front volume knob for Active/Passive switching, and push/pull functionality on the rear volume knob for Single/Ham connection switching, allowing for genre-defying sound shaping. The pickguard has been replaced from the original to a burl wood type approximately 6mm thick, allowing for smoother playing without fingers getting too caught when slapping. There are scratches, dents, and paint cracks on the headstock and body, but it is still perfectly playable. The truss rod has plenty of adjustment range, and the neck is in good condition.
