A faithful reproduction of the Otto Link Tone Master, a guitar made in the early 1940s-50s and famously used by John Coltrane! Created using the combined expertise of Gotts' 10 years of experience. Compared to the previous model, the Tone Master has been thoroughly reproduced, with the addition of a protruding part on the top of the mouthpiece (even reproducing the seam line seen on the original!), and the distinctive shank shape. The low, short rollover bump, wide chamber and sidewalls are reproduced with exquisite precision, and the tone produced from this carefully crafted shape is characterized by its thick and dark sound. This mouthpiece is a must-try for those who are particular about vintage Link mouthpieces and those who seek a deep, nuanced jazz sound. ■Material: Vintage brass (Gotts original) ■Surface finish: Gold plating ■Accessories: Plastic case, pouch As this item is handmade, there may be minor scratches or imperfections.
