The American Vintage Series Jazz Bass remains highly popular to this day. With its resonant alder tone, warm and clear sound from the two single-coil pickups, and versatile expression thanks to the front and rear volume controls, this bass delivers a sound worthy of its timeless classic status. This particular instrument appears to be a 1996 model, commemorating Fender's 50th anniversary. While the neck and pickup pocket have date markings, the potentiometer date is 1996. The 50th anniversary mark on the back of the headstock confirms its 1996 manufacture date. There are paint chips, scratches, and tarnishing on the metal parts. There is a large dent on the fretboard near the 18th fret of the 1st string. The strap pin on the back of the headstock and one pickguard screw are missing, and the bridge has been replaced from the original to a similar type. The electronics appear to be original. The truss rod is stiff in the tightening direction, but we have confirmed that there is still room for adjustment within the normal range. The neck condition is slightly upward-rising, but we have leveled it in our shop so that it can be used without any buzzing. Weight ≈ 4.28 kg Accessories: Original hard case
