While the two channels share a similar character, each has its own distinct personality, and both can handle a wide range from crystal clean tones to thick distortion. Channel 1, which pairs exceptionally well with the EL84 power amplifier, is also perfectly functional on its own, covering everything from bell-like chimes to the grit of classic rock.
