New for 2018, Louisville Slugger is introducing the Prime 918 BBCOR Baseball Bat. The Louisville Slugger Prime 918 (-3) is Slugger’s most technologically advanced bat to date. The Prime 918 is a three-piece bat with a 100% composite design. Louisville Slugger utilizes a Composite Microform barrel to maximize performance on the Prime 918 at the lightest weight possible. Louisville Slugger uses TRU3 technology in the Prime 918 to create a three-piece bat with a stronger connection between the barrel and handle. The independent movement between the barrel and handle created by TRU3 Technology dampens the vibrations and provides a unique feel at contact. Not only does the Louisville Slugger Prime 918 feature a lightweight RTX end cap to extend the barrel shape, but also a handle outfitted with Lizard Skin’s premium performance grip to give the hitter a comfortable and effective grip at the plate. The 2018 Louisville Slugger Prime 918 BBCOR Baseball Bat is BBCOR certified and approved for use in High School and Collegiate Leagues. If you are an elite player looking for a high-performing composite bat with a balanced feel, the Louisville Slugger Prime 918 BBCOR Baseball Bat (-3) is a great option. 100% Composite Microform barrel design for lighter swing weight and maximum pop TRU3™ construction to reduce vibration and provide unmatched feel New RTX™ end cap for longer barrel shape Balanced swing weight score: 1.7 New custom Lizard Skin™ premium performance grip BBCOR-certified
