14 full pans The visual impact of pearl luster pigments changes based on the background color. On light surfaces their effect is subtle; against dark grounds their reflective prope rties intensify dramatically. These colors can be used full strength to add sharp, shining details. Alternatively, they can be used very delicately mixed with another color- like a bit of Chroma Green mixed into Phthalo Green, or Star Gold added to Yellow Ochre. The neutral silver/white pearl lusters can also be used a "base" to make a pearly version of any color. To prevent shimmery "contamination" to other colors, you may want to use a dedicated rinse-water jar exclusively for pearlescent paints. --- Kremer watercolors are all made by hand in the Color-Mill in the Allgäu region. Our pure, high quality pigments are bound in a home made medium based on gum arabic and honey. No added fillers mean that each color is as vibrant as possible, and the unique texture and personality of each pigment is intact. Experience the difference that premium ingredients make in your paintings. --- This set includes the following pans- find them individually by product code: 472508 Furnace Black // 504008 IRIODIN® 504 Red // 500008 IRIODIN® 103 RUTILE STERLING Silver // 505008 IRIODIN® 7225 Ultra Rutile Blue Pearl // 500408 IRIODIN® 119 POLAR WHITE, Polarsilver // 505108 IRIODIN® 7215 ULTRA RED, Chroma Red // 500638 PYRISMA® T40-27 SW Color Space Indigo // 505208 IRIODIN® 7219 Ultra Rutile Lilac Pearl // 501108 IRIODIN® 307 STAR GOLD, Colibri, fine // 506208 IRIODIN® 7235 ULTRA GREEN, Chroma Green // 501808 IRIODIN® 303 ROYAL GOLD // 506548 Pearl Luster Magic Purple // 503208 IRIODIN® 530 Glitter Bronze // 506588 COLORSTREAM® T10-03 Show more
