A marquise tanzanite suspended in a peaked, tent-like geometric setting — bold, architectural, and unmistakably mid-century-modern. The violet stone catches the warm yellow gold and turns the whole ring into a piece of wearable sculpture. The 7 × 3mm marquise tanzanite (0.35ct, deep violet-blue) sits horizontally between two angular shoulders, with four small round diamond accents (0.09ct) catching the light along the supports. Set in 14K yellow gold with high polish on the geometric panels — a piece designed to be looked at twice. Currently a size 6.5 — easily resized by your jeweler. Wear it as a statement on its own; the architecture doesn't ask for company. A natural conversation piece for collectors of mid-century-modern jewelry or anyone drawn to the unusual. FAQs: What is tanzanite? Tanzanite is a rare violet-blue gemstone found in only one place on earth — the Mererani Hills of Tanzania, near Mount Kilimanjaro. Discovered in 1967 and brought to fame by Tiffany & Co. How do I care for tanzanite? Tanzanite measures 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale (softer than diamond) — clean gently with warm soapy water, avoid ultrasonic cleaners and harsh chemicals, and store in a separate pouch from harder gemstones. Can it be resized? Yes — the yellow-gold band resizes within 1–2 sizes. Contact us at 504-908-0011 if you need assistance.
