For decades, the space shuttle was the leading vehicle for space travel. It remains probably the most iconic spacecraft design in the history of spaceflight. So what better way to inspire the dreams of any aspiring astronaut than with an image the shuttle climbing high above the Earth? This dreamlike picture shows the shuttle still burning with the two solid rocket boosters and the orbiter engines as it climbs high above the earth. Below, the curving world is swathed in thin, wispy clouds as lights shine from the sleepy, darkened landscape below. This mural would be a great choice for a child’s room, science classroom, or the hallway of a science and engineering department with ties to space research. Choose from standard sizes or customize it for your space. The central focus of the image makes it easy to crop for square, even narrow areas.
