Moths & beetroots, slugs & bulbs, plums & grubs, elderberries & carrion, toads & grains, hazelnuts & fungi, acorns & wild pears, blackberries & barley. Worms, worms, worms. Daisy Thomas Stone Our brand-new limited edition Badgered poetry pills, created in support of the Badger Trust, contain short poetic extracts that celebrate the mystery, resilience, and nocturnal grace of one of Britain’s most iconic mammals. Drawn from workshops with Clare Shaw and Miriam Darlington, each extract invites readers into the wild, wonderful, and enigmatic life of the badger. From moonlit foraging to the wisdom of the woodland, these pocket-sized poetic doses offer moments of wildness you can carry with you. 50% of the price of every bottle sold goes directly to the Badger Trust, the leading voice for badgers in England and Wales. The charity works tirelessly to: • Promote the conservation, welfare, and protection of badgers, their setts, and habitats • Campaign against wildlife crime and unnecessary culling • Educate the public about the importance of coexistence with this much-loved yet misunderstood mammal. Deborah Alma, founder of the Poetry Pharmacy, says: “Badgers stir deep emotions — from fierce protectiveness to controversy. We wanted to create something beautiful and surprising that reminds people of their wild magic, while also directly supporting their survival.”
