Why We’re Sew Into 'Barnafoss': Its minuscule plaid print that slowly appears from between dense velvet pile Its warm palette, where rust brown, gray, and burnt orange unfurl in la yered depth and soft echoes The luxe allure of velvet, blending tactility, sheen and timeless elegance HomeSewn Wisdom: Use as a neutral pattern: When you want printed curtains that play a side role, rather than garner all the focus, think of Barnafoss drapes. Their small-scale print make them immensely versatile and anything but busy. They make the perfect intermediary between bold prints and solid colors, holding promise for both maximalist spaces loaded with patterns, and minimalist spaces that revel in a texture fest. Pinch & puddle: Lean into velvet's drama by styling these curtains in pinch pleats and letting their plush folds cascade into a generous puddle on the floor. This nod to old-world grandeur is not merely a glaring statement of extravagance but also the most poetic way of magnifying velvet's depth and richness. Consider roman shades: If you’re dressing a small window or a compact room, try roman shades in Barnafoss as a sleek and stylish alternative to curtains. They will offer you the same designer appeal as drapes without commanding any more space than the window itself. Order swatches: Screens may lie; swatches don’t. For the most accurate representation of color, pattern and texture, order a sample of the Barnafoss fabric before placing your window treatments order. This will allow you to experience the fabric in your own lighting and setting, so you can commit to it with confidence. Coordinate with accessories: For a cohesive bespoke look, coordinate your curtains with other textile accessories in the room. Order matching cushions, bed runners, table covers, etc. from us or buy Barnafoss fabric by the yard to create something uniquely yours. The Nitty-Gritty (Made Pretty): Prices are per panel, not per pair because sometimes all you need is a solo act on a narrow attic window. No forcing you to spend on two where one will do. Hardware is not included with our drapes, so please be prepared with poles, rings and other pretty little things. Each drapery panel at Sewn is handcrafted by skilled artisans from India who pour care, precision and decades of experience into every stitch. Show more
