Beetroot Yak Bar 💜 | Himalayan Yak Chew Made With Authentic Nak Milk Earthy, colourful and naturally delicious — the Beetroot Yak Bar offers a vibrant twist on the traditional Himalayan chew. Made with authentic Nak milk, this bar is durable, nutrient-rich and a fun flavour for dogs who enjoy something a bit different. About Our Himalayan Yak Bars All of our yak bars are crafted using authentic Nak milk — that’s milk from female Himalayan yaks. It’s richer, naturally more nutritious, and creates a higher-quality chew than the generic “yak bars” you’ll find elsewhere. Many UK bars don’t contain any Nak milk at all, so it’s a difference dogs can genuinely taste and feel. Each bar is made using traditional Himalayan methods with yak milk, cow milk, a touch of lime juice and salt, resulting in a hard, long-lasting chew that’s naturally high in protein and calcium, low in odour, and ideal for supporting dental health. If you’re looking for a natural, durable chew with no artificial colours, preservatives or fillers, our Nak-milk yak bars are as close to the original Himalayan recipe as you can get. Available in XL and XXL. Why dogs love the Beetroot Yak Bar: Natural beetroot flavour High-protein, calcium-rich chew Durable & long-lasting Helps reduce plaque build-up Low odour & mess-free Puffable end piece for extra fun Choose your size: XL – perfect for medium & large dogs XXL – ideal for powerful chewers Who it’s perfect for: Dogs who like earthy flavours • Medium–giant breeds • Strong chewers • Natural treat lovers Ingredients: Yak milk 70%, cow milk 27%, lime juice 1.5%, salt 0.5%, natural beetroot flavour extract 1%. Typical Weights: XL: 130-150g XXL: 160-200g Natural Variation: Because our yak bars are handmade using traditional methods, variation in size, shape, colour and weight is completely normal. Some bars may appear lighter or darker depending on the natural milk and flavour infusion used. This is part of their charm and doesn’t affect durability or quality. Staining Notice: Most of our flavoured yak bars do not typically cause staining, but as with any natural chew containing fruit or vegetable extracts, a small risk is always possible — especially on light fabrics, pale carpets or soft furnishings. If staining is a concern, we recommend offering the chew: on a washable blanket on a hard floor or in your dog’s usual chewing area This keeps things tidy while still allowing your dog to enjoy their treat safely. Feeding & Safety: Supervise chewing. Puff small ends in the microwave. Provide fresh water. FAQ Is beetroot safe for dogs? Yes in natural extract form. Is this chew hard? Very — it’s designed for strong jaws. What is Nak milk and why is it special? Nak milk comes from female Himalayan yaks and is naturally richer and more nutritious than the milk used in many generic yak bars. It creates a higher-quality chew with better flavour and digestibility. Are your yak bars authentic Himalayan chews? Yes. They follow the traditional Himalayan recipe of yak milk, cow milk, lime juice and salt — with natural flavour extracts for the fruity varieties. How long do yak bars last? Duration varies by dog, but our bars are known for being extremely long-lasting thanks to their hardness and quality of milk. Can they stain? It’s uncommon, but possible with any flavoured chew. Offer on a blanket or hard floor if you’re unsure. Do yak bars vary in shape or colour? Yes — every bar is handmade, so natural variation in size, colour, shape and weight is completely normal. What happens when the bar gets small? Simply microwave the final piece for 30–90 seconds until it puffs up into a light, crunchy treat. Always allow it to cool before serving. Are they good for strong chewers? Absolutely. These bars are famously tough and ideal for dogs who need a durable, natural chew. Always supervise and remove if it becomes a choking risk. Are they suitable for puppies? Only for puppies with fully developed adult teeth. Younger puppies may find them too hard. A vibrant, earthy twist on the classic Himalayan chew — bold, durable and delicious.
