Did you know bug guts are highly acidic and can stain and damage your clear coat if you leave them to bake in the sun? Our Bug Remover is a ready‑to‑use, fast‑acting alkaline cleaner that breaks down bug proteins and neutralizes acidity so you can rinse away stubborn bug remains with minimal scrubbing. Safe on paint, glass, chrome, and polished aluminum. Turning a bug‑splattered grille or bumper into a quick and easy clean‑up. WHAT MAKES BUG REMOVER DIFFERENT Most “all‑purpose” cleaners and cheap bug sprays do very little to remove baked‑on bug remains. Or they’re harsh enough to risk damage to your clear coat, plastics, or polished metals. Bug Remover is formulated specifically for breaking down bug proteins using a fast‑acting alkaline blend that softens and loosens the contamination so it can be gently agitated and rinsed away. Because it’s designed for use on real trucks and trailers that run thousands of miles, we made sure it’s safe and effective on all common exterior surfaces—including polished aluminum—when used as directed. That means you can focus on cleaning the mess, not worrying about what it’s doing to your finish. RECOMMENDED USE ROUTINE Work in the shade on a cool surface whenever possible to prevent premature drying. Lightly rinse the area first if there is heavy loose dirt or dust present. Spray Bug Remover directly onto bug‑covered areas such as grilles, bumpers, mirrors, windshields, and front caps. Allow the product to dwell for 1–2 minutes; do not let it dry on the surface. Gently agitate with a brush or wash mitt to help break up stubborn remains. Rinse thoroughly with clean water until all product and residue are removed. Follow with your preferred wash soap or full wash routine for best overall results. EQUIPMENT & SETUP RECOMMENDATIONS Bug Remover is ready to use, so it works great with simple, easy‑to‑deploy tools you probably already own. For larger vehicles or frequent use, a dedicated sprayer setup makes the job even faster. Standard trigger sprayers for spot treatment on grilles, mirrors, bumpers, and front caps. 1–2 gallon pump sprayers for RVs, box trucks, and semi‑truck fronts. Use with Image's Automatic Bug Remover Pump System for optimized performance. Use soft bristle brushes, high‑quality wash mitts, or bug sponges for gentle agitation on stubborn areas. Use with your usual pressure washer or hose for final rinsing as part of your normal wash process. Avoid foam cannons, since they will over‑dilute this ready‑to‑use formula and reduce performance.
