Flight Numbers: 12 | 5 | -2 | 1 A fast, glide-heavy distance driver built to push farther with smooth turn and a controlled finish. The Climo Disc Golf Apogee is a 12-speed distance driver designed for players looking to add more speed and distance without stepping into an overly demanding flight. With substantial glide, workable high-speed turn, and a mild finishing fade, the Apogee is built to carry down the fairway and stay in the air. The name Apogee was chosen by Ken Climo in honor of his father, who worked at Honeywell as an avionics engineer. In orbital terms, apogee is the point at which an object reaches its greatest distance from Earth—an appropriate name for a mold designed around maximizing distance. Compared with Climo Disc Golf’s Skyway, the Apogee increases the speed to 12 while maintaining a workable, distance-focused flight. Players can use it for hyzer flips, long controlled turnovers, and open-field distance shots where glide and forward carry are the priority. This Prototype Apogee is produced in Climo Disc Golf’s Victory Line plastic with a distinctive color-shift effect. The appearance changes as the disc moves in the light, giving each disc its own unique visual character.
