Brew Bold. Live Loud. Q: What makes this coffee good for cold brew?A: Cold Brew Blend is dark French roasted and ground coarse — both essential for proper cold brew extraction. The coarse grind prevents over-extraction and bitterness, while the dark roast creates the naturally smooth, low-acid, chocolatey profile that cold brew is known for. Q: How do I make cold brew with this coffee?A: Add 1 cup of coarse ground coffee to 4 cups of cold water. Stir, cover, and steep in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours. Strain through a fine mesh or coffee filter and enjoy over ice. Makes a concentrate you can dilute to taste. Q: Can I use Cold Brew Blend for hot coffee?A: Yes — the dark French roast and coarse grind still work for French press or drip, though it's specifically optimized for cold brew extraction. You'll get a bold, smooth, low-acid hot cup as well. Q: How much cold brew does each size make?A: The 12oz bag makes approximately 3-4 batches of cold brew. The 1 LB makes about 4-5 batches, the 2 LB about 8-10 batches, and the 5 LB is perfect for heavy cold brew households or offices.
