Expert Buyer's Guide Unsure about sizing? The most common mistake buyers make is underestimating the player clearance. You generally need at least 2 feet of clearance at each end of the table for players to stand and shoot comfortably. For a 12' table, ensure your room has at least 16' of available length. Why the 2-piece surface on 18' and 20' models?Tables of this magnitude are incredibly heavy and difficult to maneuver around tight corners or down stairs. The 2-piece playing surface maintains professional playability while ensuring the table can actually fit into your home. Frequently Asked Questions Do I have to pay customs fees or import taxes? No. Unlike many online retailers that ship from the USA or overseas, we ship directly from our Kingston, Ontario distribution hub. The price you see is the price you pay (plus standard Canadian sales tax). Is assembly required?Yes, shuffleboard tables require assembly. Due to the weight (especially the solid maple surface), we highly recommend professional installation or having a team of strong helpers available.
