DevaCurl Styling Cream is a curl-defining cream built for medium to coarse curls, designed to shape and moisturize curls with a flexible, touchable hold rather than a stiff, crunch y set. It's applied to soaking-wet hair and suits wash-and-gos, twist-outs, braid-outs, and Bantu knots, using a hydrating blend led by glycerin and panthenol rather than heavy oils or butters. The formula is sulfate- and silicone-free, so it skips the SLS/SLES foaming agents and dimethicone-type coating ingredients found in many styling creams, and it's also paraben-free, gluten-free, vegan, and cruelty-free. Because it's a cream rather than a gel, it provides less structural hold on its own; people with curlier or coarser textures often layer it with a gel for longer-lasting definition. Show more
