French vintage ceramic figurine of a long-necked dog, likely a greyhound or whippet, with a sleek, upright posture that earned these mid-20th-century pieces the nickname “sentinel” dogs. Crafted in glazed ceramic with a smooth white finish, this elegant figure reflects the streamlined design sensibility of the era. They were often displayed in pairs, and these figurines were popular as decorative accents in modernist and traditional French interiors alike. A striking sculptural form that adds quiet presence to any shelf, console, or mantel. Sourced from a brocante in Marseille. dimensions: 2"dia x 5"H Show more
