The Edison V3.0 Robot is the latest version of the popular programmable robot designed as a complete STEM teaching resource for coding and robotics education for students aged 4 to 16 years. It features a rechargeable battery with 60 minutes of uninterrupted driving time and connects directly to a computer via a USB cable that attaches neatly beneath the robot.Edison is an engaging tool for teaching computational thinking and computer programming in a hands-on way. It incorporates multiple built-in sensors, including obstacle detection, line tracking, light and sound sensors, enabling autonomous behavior. Multiple Edison robots can communicate with each other and connect to LEGO bricks for expanded robotics projects.Key features include progressive programming languages (EdBlocks, EdScratch, EdPy) for learners at different skill levels, a two-wheel drive system, infrared communication, and interactive lights and sounds. Edison V3 is an affordable and powerful tool for robotics and STEM education worldwide. Teach computational thinking and coding hands-on to children aged 4-16 years Responds to light, sound; follows lines; avoids obstacles Communicates with other Edison robots and connects to LEGO bricks Code via headphone output or direct USB programming with retractable cable Three intuitive programming interfaces: EdBlocks, EdScratch, and EdPy Integrated rechargeable battery with approximately 60 minutes runtime Includes built-in sensors: obstacle detection, remote control, infrared comms, line tracker, light sensors, sound sensor, and three-button keypad Outputs: 2-wheel drive, infrared comms, sound, lights Onboard processor: GigaDevice GD32F350CBT6 ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit MCU Free educational resources and technical documentation available online Includes: 1 Edison Robot with integrated USB cable and rechargeable battery.Requires: Computer or laptop with standard USB port; optional USB charger.
