These round fabric-covered boxes in navy and cream toile de Jouy — a classic French pastoral print depicting architectural ruins, florals, and countryside scenes are made of sturdy cardboard construction with fabric. These are traditional French hat boxes (boîtes à chapeau), used to store and transport women's hats. A staple of the French millinery trade, they were designed to protect delicate hat forms during travel or between seasons. Today they work equally well as decorative storage — on a dresser, vanity, or shelf. Sold individually. dimensions: 6.5"dia x 4"H 4 available Show more
