Size:39 x 47 inImmerse yourself in the emotive depth of 'First Stretch', an original masterpiece by the critically acclaimed artist Toby Mulligan, elegantly presented in a wooden black domed frame measuring 39 x 47 inches. This painting is a celebration of human form and emotion, rendered with a spontaneity and vibrancy that breathes life into every brushstroke. Mulligan’s work captures a nude figure in an introspective moment, sitting curled up on the ground. The figure's face is hidden, lending the artwork a universal quality that invites viewers to see parts of their own inner worlds reflected back. Rendered in bold and dynamic colours—deep burgundy intertwines with earthy greens, while splashes of oceanic blue and hints of lavender add layers of complexity to this abstract background. The painting hums with energy through its use of contrasting shades; splatters and strokes create an impressionistic sense of movement around the tranquil figure. This juxtaposition mirrors our own moments of stillness amidst life’s chaos. Toby Mulligan's distinctive approach to contemporary figurative art leaves each piece feeling both deeply personal and extraordinarily expansive. 'First Stretch' embodies his belief in being "always open, always amazed", inviting collectors into a world where each viewing reveals new insights. This artwork represents an exquisite addition for those who appreciate pieces that fuse raw emotional power with technical finesse—the perfect centrepiece for any room seeking depth and contemplation.
