Portland's Fruition has spent years building one of the most devoted followings on the Americana circuit, earning that loyalty through relentless touring and three-part harmonies that hit differently in a sweaty club at midnight. Tucker Martine's production credits run deep through the Pacific Northwest's most distinctive records, and pairing his sensibility with a band this road-seasoned suggests Something More earned its title. The culmination of almost two decades of making music, Portland-based Fruition shares their new album, including themes of kicking old habits, letting go of control, interrogating motives, and fearless open hearts. Producer Tucker Martine lends his playful imagination and nuanced expertise to "Something More" to make something intentional, brave, vulnerable, and timeless. Strong vocal harmonies and upbeat rhythms infuse this genre-bending Americana, folk, alt country album.
