They are best kept on a soft, sandy substrate so they can browse and sift through the sand, coarser options such as gravel or fine pebbled can inhibit feeds or damage gill filaments. They can be a slower feeder and are easily outcompeted with food so keeping this fish in a community aquarium is not best practise, groups of peaceful schooling fish that aren't vigorous feeders is best and may help reduce shyness within the Bolivian Rams. pH: 6.0 - 7.5Temperature: 24 – 28° CFull Size: 8cmPlace of origin: Bolivia and Brazil.Diet: Omnivores Minimum Aquarium Size: 75L for single or bonded pair - 120L+ for multiple *Image is for reference only.
