Hand-built, black stoneware, unglazed This slender, looping sculpture rises in a sequence of angles and negative spaces. Hand-built with black stoneware coils, it retains the subtl e grain and gently irregular surfaces of its making. The form resolves at the top into a single loop that leans in slightly, giving the piece a quiet, animated presence, as if listening. Measures approximately 7.25” W x 18” H x 6” D, 5 pounds, 14.6 ounces. This piece is part of 931 Gallery's Body Language: Stories in Form exhibit until May 10th. It's available for sale at 931 Gallery and not on this website. 931 Gallery: 931 S Santa Fe Drive, Denver. All my pieces are handmade. They are often asymmetrical and organically shaped. Each is different, making your piece original. You will receive the exact item pictured. Note: Shipping costs are high, especially for weighty ceramic pieces.
