A beekeeper leg strap is a specialized piece of beekeeping equipment that is designed to help prevent bees from entering the beekeeper's pants while working with a hive. The strap typically consists of an adjustable elastic band that is worn around the ankle or just above the knee and is secured tightly to the pant leg using a clip or hook. The purpose of the leg strap is to create a seal between the beekeeper's pants and their boots, preventing bees from crawling up the pant legs and stinging the beekeeper. This can be especially important during inspections or when working with aggressive or defensive colonies, as it can help to reduce the risk of stings and increase the beekeeper's overall safety.
