M5Stack PIR is an infrared motion detection unit based on a passive pyroelectric sensor. It identifies infrared radiation emitted or reflected by people or objects. When motion is detected, the output goes high for a short delay period (about 2s, allowing repeated triggers) before returning to low once no signal is present. The unit connects to the M5Core through the GROVE B interface. Note: This module includes a fixed 2-second delay time. Features Detection distance: up to 500 cm Response delay: 2 seconds Detection angle: < 100° Standby current: < 60 µA Operating temperature: -20 ~ 80 °C GROVE interface, compatible with UIFlow and Arduino Two LEGO-style mounting holes Package Contents 1 × PIR Unit 1 × GROVE Cable Applications Motion-activated lighting Security and alarm systems Automatic appliance control Specifications Resources Parameter Net weight 5 g Gross weight 20 g Product size 32 × 24 × 12 mm Package size 60 × 57 × 17 mm Show more
