Keep your cool with NACA Ducts Similar to an airplane, drag is undesirable for a race car. Every bit of drag on an airplane, a rocket or a race car limits the maximum speed and increases the amount of fuel consumed. Developed with optimum performance in mind, the unique shape of the NACA duct effectively transfers air in or out where needed with minimal drag. Pro-werks universal NACA inlet ducts provide a positive low resistance method of air transfer. They are lightweight, hand-laid fiberglass cloth construction with gel-coat finish. The thickness ranges from 1/16" to 3/32" and the mounting flange measures approximately 1" wide. Easily installed with either bonding compound, rivets or small screws - on fiberglass, carbon fiber, aluminum, or steel body panels. Backed by The Chassis Shop's Satisfaction Guarantee. Benefits Include: Low drag Introducing fresh air Extracting undesirable hot air Balancing air pressure Dual purpose Air Ducts Depending on which direction that they are mounted, NACA air intake vent ducts effectively provide a low drag intake scoop for fresh air where needed, or remove air when installed as a backward NACA duct. These specialized components will help your project come together with great style and increased performance. Install NACA Ducts in Multiples for Increased Volume There are three sizes of Pro-werks NACA ducts to choose from. If the available space or panel shape dictates it, they can be mounted individually or in multiples (side by side) for additional airflow volume. Common mounting locations include: hood NACA duct, roof NACA duct, or as a side panel NACA duct.
