The PMC15 SUB is a formidable active subwoofer engineered to deliver immense low-frequency energy with exceptional precision and ultra-low distortion. Built to integrate seamlessly with any PMC monitoring system, it shares the same large-format ATL™ (Advanced Transmission Line) cabinet design and LaminairX™ airflow venting as the full-range PMC15, ensuring consistent voicing and unmatched bass control. This makes it an ideal solution for studios working in high-demand environments such as immersive audio, film post-production, and large-scale music facilities. At its core is PMC’s most powerful LF driver to date-a 15-inch, in-house-designed unit featuring massive double-stacked magnets, a three-layer 3-inch voice coil, and a highly stable suspension system. This innovative design allows for extended, linear pistonic movement over a broad frequency range, resulting in deep, tight bass with vanishingly low distortion. The driver is powered by the PMC master36 DSP/amplifier, delivering 2000W of clean Class-D power. With precision digital filtering, transparent protection, and room-optimisation EQ accessible via the SoundAlign2 browser-based interface, the PMC15 SUB offers refined control and scalability in even the most demanding monitoring scenarios.
