Poisson d'Argent// translates the fish from rendered image into a reflective physical object. Its electroplated surface retains the immaculate material language associated with Fvc krender's digital work while introducing physical scale and changing reflections. The sculpture is making its official debut at Contemporary Istanbul, the premier international art fair connecting Europe and Asia at the historic Tersane Istanbul on the Golden Horn. Bringing the piece into this cross-cultural space highlights that shared, universal thread of self-reflection. Within the presentation, the sculpture reads as a collected specimen: a familiar organic form reconstructed through the surface logic of the digital world. Material: Electroplated aluminum with a mirror-chrome finish Please note: Due to the highly reflective nature of the surface, each piece interacts uniquely with the ambient lighting and colors of its environment. Production: Please allow 4 to 6 months of production, as each sculpture is individually crafted. Show more
