Candle testing sheet for wax, wick & burn trials This candle testing sheet gives each candle two pages: production details on page 1 and burn results on page 2. Print one pair per
pour. Production fields on page 1 of the candle testing template Ambient temperature Pour date Wax type Wick type Scent Dye Notes The notes space sits on the same page as the specifications, so an odd room temperature or a last-minute swap stays beside that batch's wax and wick. Burn test rounds on page 2 Page 2 works as a candle burn test sheet with space for two rounds of testing. Each round has room for measurements such as flame height, sooting and pool diameter, so you can set the first burn against the second on a single page. You'll also find space for suggestions for improvement and ratings on four points: Scent Appearance Burn length Overall quality Who fills in a candle test sheet Hobby makers use it to compare wicks in a new wax. Small candle businesses keep a filled-in pair for every scent they sell, so each pour date sits next to its burn length and overall quality rating. Sizes & colors You'll download a zipped folder of PDF files in A4 and US Letter sizes. The template comes in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, purple and grey, and giving each wax type its own color keeps a stack of test pages sorted. Questions about the candle testing sheet Can I type into it? No, it's a print-only PDF, so you'll write your flame height and pool diameter readings in by hand. Can I print more than one copy? Yes, print as many copies of both pages as you have batches to test.
