Application Instructions for Resolve Solvent-Based Tire Dressing For optimal results and a long-lasting, deep shine, follow these instructions carefully. Ensure tires are clean before application for maximum performance. What You'll Need: Resolve Solvent-Based Tire Dressing Applicator pad (foam or microfiber recommended) Preparation: Clean Tires Thoroughly: Before applying Resolve, it is crucial to thoroughly clean your tires. Use a dedicated tire cleaner or an all-purpose cleaner and a stiff brush to remove all dirt, grime, old dressings, and browning. Rinse thoroughly with water. Application: Apply to Applicator: Dispense a small amount of Resolve directly onto your applicator pad. Start with a conservative amount; a little goes a long way. Spread Evenly: Apply the dressing evenly over the entire surface of the tire sidewall. Work in small sections, ensuring complete and uniform coverage. Use a circular motion or back-and-forth strokes to achieve an even layer. Allow to Penetrate (Optional): For an even deeper, richer shine, you may allow the dressing to penetrate the tire for a few minutes before proceeding to the next step. Wipe Off Excess (Optional, for a less glossy finish): If you prefer a more subtle, satin finish, lightly wipe off any excess product with a clean, dry microfiber towel after a few minutes. For a bold, high-gloss look, leaving the product as applied is recommended. Repeat if Desired: For an even more intense shine and extended durability, a second thin coat can be applied after the first coat has dried for 10-15 minutes. Tips for Best Results: Less is More: Start with a small amount of product and add more if needed. Over-applying can lead to a greasy finish or potential sling. Maintain Regularly: For continuous protection and a consistently bold appearance, reapply Resolve every 2-4 weeks, or as needed, depending on driving conditions and weather exposure.
