This is the original Basic, with a 120cm one-piece 40x80mm chassis base. It’s our final production run — once these are gone we won’t be making more. The Updated Basic replaces it with a 110cm one-piece 40x80mm chassis base, with newly designed adjustable steel pedal and wheel decks. Shipping stays $30 no matter how many accessories you add to the order, lower 48. The RigMetal Basic Sim Racing Cockpit is strong, simple, and efficient. It is easy to assemble and looks great. This rig comes standard with the RigMetal Wheel Plate, and shifter/handbrake assembly. We also offer an upgrade kit for the Basic rig if you decide to upgrade at a later date.
