RootShield® WP is an OMRI Listed biological fungicide and soil inoculant designed to protect plant roots against destructive soilborne fungal pathogens. Powered by Trichoderma harzianum Rifai strain KRL-AG2, RootShield WP colonizes plant roots to block and suppress Pythium, Rhizoctonia, Fusarium, Thielaviopsis, and Cylindrocladium species. By shielding the root system against damping off and root rot, it promotes root vigor, stress tolerance, and nutrient absorption. Key things we want you to know Active Ingredient: Trichoderma harzianum Rifai strain KRL-AG2 Protection & Entry Window: Up to 12 weeks of root protection | 0-Hour Restricted Entry Interval (REI) OMRI Listed: Biofungicide for edible, ornamental, and commercial crops. Key Product Highlights Long-Lasting Root Shielding: A single application grows alongside roots, providing up to 12 weeks of continuous biological protection. Broad-Spectrum Pathogen Suppression: Controls major root-rot fungi including Pythium, Rhizoctonia, Fusarium, Thielaviopsis, and Cylindrocladium. Enhanced Root & Plant Vigor: Stimulates root branching and hair development, improving water and nutrient uptake. Zero Entry Delay: Features a 0-hour REI and 0-day Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI) with no risk of phytotoxicity. Flexible Application: Dissolves in water for drenches, cutting dips, chemigation, and hydroponic recirculation systems. Target Diseases & Crop CompatibilityTarget Diseases: Root rot, damping off, crown rot, and wilt caused by soilborne fungal pathogens.Ideal Applications: Greenhouse and nursery soil drenches Transplant dips, root cuttings, and seed treatments Commercial field crops, orchards, and container nursery stock Hydroponic, aquaponic, and indoor living soil systems Suggested ApplicationRootShield WP mixes readily with water. Maintain agitation during slurry mixing and application. Soil Drench & Dip Application: Apply as a drench at transplant or planting to ensure immediate root contact. Living Soil Integration: Pair with biology-rich growing media like KIS Commercial Growers Mix and monitor root zone moisture with Blumat Digital Moisture Meters. Compatibility: Compatible with most biological inputs and fertilizers. Avoid tank-mixing with concentrated chemical fungicides. Safety & HandlingStore in the original container in a cool, dry place.
