A son of the Garuda king, Sadayu embodies unwavering loyalty and honesty, refusing to lie even at great personal cost. In the tale, Sadayu confronts Ravana during Sita’s abduction, unleashing his immense power to destroy Ravana’s forces. Despite his strength, Sadayu’s honesty becomes his downfall when Ravana tricks him into revealing his weakness. Mortally wounded, Sadayu uses his last strength to deliver vital news and Sita’s ring to Rama, symbolizing his bravery and loyalty. This fragrance draws not only from Sadayu’s tale but also from the majestic image of a powerful, honest bird soaring through the skies. It reimagines this essence in a modern Fougere composition, merging refreshing green accords with deeper, evocative tones. Sadayu opens with the cool and invigorating notes of Spearmint and Bergamot, reminiscent of fresh winds in flight. The heart reveals the distinctive aroma of Holy Basil, cherished in Indian culture as a sacred herb believed to ward off negativity and purify the spirit. This meaningful note pairs beautifully with the warm, spicy, and subtly sweet nuances of Myrrh, adding depth and character. The base is elegantly grounded with Ambroxan, a contemporary note that enhances longevity and warmth, paired with Coumarin, which lends a soft, creamy sweetness. Together, they create a balanced and memorable finish that exudes sophistication and comfort. Perfect for those seeking an unconventional and inspiring scent, Sadayu celebrates the enduring legend of courage and loyalty. It is a tribute to a timeless story and the powerful symbolism of an emerald bird soaring with integrity.
